I'm an adjunct in the Theatre Dept and I run a professional-level improvisation company in Pagosa Springs. We have a show called The Experts that features a brief Ted-talk style lecture and then we improvise inspired by the lecture. Our next lecturer is a retired UT Austin prof. I'd love to invite fellow faculty members out to 1) see the show at 2) possibly join in as a lecturer as we schedule future dates! You'd need to be able to give a lecture of about 15 minutes and then field audience questions in the second half. No need to be funny or anything like that - just as engaging as you'd typically need to be to give a normal talk on a subject of your area of expertise/interest.
